Excellent! I had seen pictures of the gear for years, but never actually
seen it flying on the aircraft. Thanks.

PS Somewere the is a picture of a P-40 Warhawk with smaller version to the
gear. I saw it sometime ago, but have not seen it lately. The picture
showed an earlier B or C model P-40 sitting in a hanger.
